Dal khichadi is a comforting and nutritious Indian dish made with a combination of rice and lentils (usually moong dal or split yellow lentils), cooked together with spices and sometimes vegetables. It’s often considered a one-pot meal and is popular for its simplicity and ease of preparation.
Ingredients: Moog Dal 1/4 cup, Tur Dal 1/4 cup, Rice 2 cup,1 tomato,1 onion , few ground nut, kadi patta, cumin seeds, musterd seeds, vegetables whatever you want green peas, cauliflower,potato etc , Sambar Masala 1tbsp, red chilly powder 1 tbsp.
Take all Dal and rice , wash it.
Take a pressure cooker add some oil or ghee add cumin seeds , musterd seeds, kadi patta ,red chilly powder then add all vegetables and rice and Dal. Fry it then add water as per need add more water so the khichadi will make watery. Then add Sambar Masala. Lock the cooker . After 2 vessel turn of the flame. Delicious Dal khichadi is ready.
